This workshop will explore the relationships between these professionals whose collective goal is to protect the individual with disabilities while also promoting autonomy. Breakout Session 2B: Assisting Challenging Beneficiaries and Their Families
Managing SNTs is more than just paying bills. All staff must
understand the psychology of providing customer service with
clients and families with all types of disabilities. Developing a
repertoire of “assessment and counseling” skills will not only benefit
day to day operation but help with staff satisfaction and
communication skills and hopefully lessen burnout. This interactive
presentation will give time for discussion and practice.
